Meet your therapist

Dr Simone Grey is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and registered nutritionist with over 25 years’ experience integrating psychology, physical health, and trauma-informed care. She works with individuals, adolescents, and couples, with particular expertise in eating disorders, gender identity, and the embodied impact of trauma.

Simone’s approach is relational, compassionate, and rooted in evidence-based frameworks, drawing on attachment theory, parts-based therapy, and nervous system regulation. Her work blends traditional talking therapy with somatic and emotion-focused strategies to support deep, sustainable change.

Alongside professional training, Simone brings lived experience and a grounded, feminist perspective to her practice. She understands that distress is never just individual—it’s shaped by family, culture, identity, and body. Her aim is to help clients make sense of their struggles with clarity, care, and curiosity.

Simone lives by the sea, loves nature, music, and movement, and believes therapy works best when it’s a collaborative, authentic, sensitive and attuned process.

What to expect

Set up a discovery call so we can have a chat prior to you booking. The most important aspect of working together is that you feel comfortable with me and that you feel I am the right therapist for you.

I work with you in-person if you’re near enough to Cornwall, or remotely through video call. Clients are offered a weekly appointment usually at the same time, on the same day every week, although as this is private therapy we can create whatever you need.

Caveats are that I cannot work with you if you are in an acute phase of anorexia nervosa and are seriously underweight.  I may be able to recommend someone or a service more suitable so please, get in touch if you need help but don’t know where to go.

Helping you break free from old patterns or ways of thinking and feeling about yourself and others.
